  • KEVIN M. DENNY - CEO

    Kevin M. Denny Mr. Denny is responsible for the leadership and management of Troop Transition International. The combination of his successful corporate upbringing, financial acumen, and entrepreneurial achievement allows him to lead TTi in its quest to redefine the military-to-civilian transition process for our nation’s military professionals.

    Denny brings over 20 years of “big business” experience and leadership to TTi – from 3M to General Electric – and five years of financial and investment management to the table. In 1999, Mr. Denny left corporate America to scratch his entrepreneurial “itch” and successfully launched the first of several start-up companies. His ability to discover and monetize new market opportunities has led to a string of successful business ventures. A particular focus on service related endeavors makes him an ideal fit for Troop Transition International.
  • SERGEANT MAJOR FRANK E. PULLEY (USMC, RET.) — SENIOR MILITARY ADVISOR

    FRANK PULLEY As Troop Transition’s Senior Military Advisor, Sergeant Major Frank E. Pulley (USMC, Ret.), advises the CEO and the entire Troop Transition team on a myriad of issues ranging from military culture, protocol, service-related customs and courtesies to installation awareness and base expansion initiatives.

    SgtMaj Pulley’s distinguished Marine Corps career spans over 30 years. Pulley served in a wide variety of duty assignments, exercises and operations in both CONUS and OCONUS. He was promoted to Sergeant Major in 1997 and served in the USMC’s most senior enlisted rank/billet for more than ten years, including assignment as Sergeant Major for Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Western Recruiting Region (MCRD/WRR). His last active duty assignment was as the Sergeant Major, 1st Marine Division, managing 22,000 active duty personnel, a clear acknowledgement of his leadership and military acumen.

    In addition to his time as a Sergeant Major, he served successful tours of independent and special duty (recruiter, career retention specialist and drill instructor). During his career, he was meritoriously promoted and received numerous personal and service awards. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) where he exceeded course standards and was named to the Commandant’s Honor Roll.

    Sergeant Major Pulley is a member of the following organizations: Rotary International, Marine Corps Association, Marine Corps League, Marine Executive Association, Marine Memorial Association, Navy-Marine Association, 1st Marine Division Association, Fleet Reserve Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

    He has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Management/Human Resources and an Associate of Science Degree in Personnel Management from Park University.

    Sergeant Major Pulley is married to the former Martha Alejandra Formariz-Ocampo of La Paz, B.C.S. MX and has three adult children: Josh, Brook and Chrisshonda. He is also the proud grandfather of three grandsons; Keenan, Armani and Malachi.
  • ROBERT BELL – VICE PRESIDENT, SOURCING

    ROBERT BELL As the Vice President of Sourcing, Rob is responsible for the team that introduces servicemembers, who have already made the decision to leave active duty, to great civilian careers that capitalize on the valuable technical and life skills that the armed services have taught these fine young men and women.

    Captain Bell started his career as a Marine infantry officer where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom I & II as a rifle platoon commander in Baghdad and throughout Babil Province and as a Battalion watch officer in Najaf. After transitioning to civilian life, he gained experience in logistics operations with Pepsi Bottling Group. He then enjoyed two years with the military division of Lucas Group. There, he assisted in the transition of hundreds of servicemen and women into the civilian workforce, and helped companies in every industry identify the sought after skills military members can bring to their team.

    He currently serves as a reserve platoon commander with 'A' company, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance aboard Camp Pendleton, CA. He is a member of the Marine Executive Association, Marine Corps Association, US Naval Institute, San Diego Military Advisory Council, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

    Captain Bell earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN while attending Naval ROTC at the University of Memphis. He resides in Carlsbad, CA with his wife of seven years.
  • HEIDI S. BECKER – DIRECTOR, MARKETING

    HEIDI S. BECKER As the Director of Marketing, Ms. Becker is responsible for the strategic oversight of all marketing, advertising, internal and external corporate communications, media relations and special events. In addition, Ms. Becker also oversees web site development and directs Outreach programs with local, regional and national organizations to promote awareness and facilitate partnership opportunities.

    Ms. Becker began her career as the Marketing Communications Manager for General Dynamics Corporation, Electronics Division. She later accepted a position with the University of Southern California (USC) as a Program Coordinator for the Master of Science, Systems Management program. Upon her return to San Diego, she spent over 15 years in commercial real estate, in a variety of marketing, management and Senior Leasing Director positions.

    Ms. Becker holds an MBA from the University of La Verne and a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from San Diego State University. She resides in San Diego with her husband, Larry, a former U.S. Navy fighter pilot.
  • JUSTIN GANS – VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

    ROBERT BELL As the Vice President of Program Development, Justin is responsible for expanding Troop Transition programs into the different branches of the military and into bases nationwide.

    Justin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he was commissioned as an officer, and selected for the Navy SEALs. He then went through Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in Coronado, and upon graduating was assigned to his first operational Team. He served for 10 years in special operations, leading SEAL platoons on various Global War on Terrorism missions throughout the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans and Southeast Asia. Gans was early promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

    Justin received an MBA from the International Institute of Management Development (IMD), in Switzerland. He then enjoyed several years in investment banking until joining our team. He resides in Carlsbad, CA with his four daughters and wife of nine years.
  • CHRISTOPHER LOPEZ – VICE PRESIDENT, PLACEMENT SERVICES

    CHRIS LOPEZ Chris Lopez is Vice President of Placement Services at Troop Transition. He leads the strategy team responsible for identifying labor shortfalls and aligning employer workforce goals with long-term, credentialing and placement solutions.

    Mr. Lopez brings more than 16 years of Management and Recruiting experience to Troop Transition's placement organization. For the past eight years, he was an Executive Senior Partner with an nationally recognized recruiting firm, where he developed staffing solutions for over 200 client corporations in 15 verticals.

    Prior to getting his start in recruiting, Mr. Lopez served in Operations Management for the Pepsi Bottling Group and as an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps.

    Mr. Lopez holds a degree from the United States Naval Academy. He resides in Oceanside, CA with his wife of fourteen years, and two children.
  • TROY BLANK – PROGRAM MANAGER, Troops 2 Truckers

    TROY BLANK Master Sergeant Troy G. Blank (USMC, Ret.) began his affiliation with Troop Transition in September 2007 as a Troops 2 Truckers candidate. He now serves as the General Manager for Troops 2 Truckers, and in this capacity he oversees the daily operations for Troops 2 Truckers aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.

    In a Marine Corps career that would span over 22 years, he served in a wide variety of duty assignments, exercises and operations in both CONUS and OCONUS. From March 1993 until Feb 1996, he served as a Senior Drill Instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Western Recruiting Region (MCRD/WRR). In recognition of his exemplary leadership skills, he was promoted to Master Sergeant in 2006.

    His last active duty assignment was as the Lead Defense Travel Administrator for over 22,000 troops of the 1st Marine Division. Master Sergeant Blank's decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait and Saudi Arabia), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation.

    As the Executive Officer for the Saddleback Young Marines, Master Sergeant Blank volunteered his time to serve his community and the youth of tomorrow. He is a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

    Master Sergeant Blank has earned a Certificate in Management/Human Resources from Palomar College and is a graduate of Troop Transition's Troops 2 Truckers and Direct 2 Management programs.

    Master Sergeant Blank is married to the former Evelyn Rae Hinkle of Santa Rosa, Ca. and has three daughters: Brittany (19), Alicia (18), Michaella (13) and a son, Devyn (16).
